alias

Define or display aliases.
syntax:

alias [-p] [name[=value] ... ]
  • alias
    prints the list of aliases in the reusable format "alias NAME=VALUE" on standard output.
  • alias lll='ls -la'
    define a new alias "lll" for ls -la command
  • alias -p
    prints the list of aliases in the reusable format "alias NAME=VALUE" on standard output.
